The much hyped Celebrity cricket league hasn't evoked much response from people last year.

Stadiums remained empty while stars from Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood played cricket.

While Bollywood's 'Mumbai heroes' has Salman Khan, Arbaz Khan and others,Kollywood's Chennai Superstars with Suriya, Simbu and Jayam Ravi has big names in its team.

However, Telugu star team is sans any star attraction.Barring Venkatesh, there is not a single big name that can pull the crowds.

Tarun, Srikanth, Manchu Vishnu, Adarsh, Raviteja's brother Bharath, Nitin, Ali's brother Khayum are members of Telugu Warriors team.

The rest of the team definitely needs introduction. No one knows who they are and which movies they acted in.

Pawan Kalyan, Maheshbabu, Junior NTR, Ramcharan Tej, Allu Arjun, Prabhas et al have stayed away from CCL hungama. Apparently, everyone from NTR Junior to Ramcharan Tej wanted to own the Telugu star team.Due to ego issues between them, the offer came to Manchu Vishnu and he bought it.However, he didn't succeed in convincing other stars to come and play for his team. Maheshbabu, Raviteja, Prabhas and NTR Junior refused to play for the team.

Senior actors like Balaiah, Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi didn't even attend these matches last CCL season.

Though Siddharth was a part of Telugu star team initially, he was kicked out of the team due to his fight with Manchu Vishnu.

Latest rumour doing the rounds is that the owner of Telugu warriors team, Manchu Vishnu sold his team to AMR group for Rs 5 crore. Apparently, he lost a lot of money in CCL last year.
Thus, Telugu team is suffering due to ego issues among different star camps in Tollywood. Given the absence of big names in the team, matches involving Telugu warriors is not going to draw much crowds this time too.
